My youngest son had tears in his eyes when his sister was unable to stop the oppositions Lacrosse ball from entering the goal and winning the game for the opposition by 1 goal. I was so proud of both of them when they stood there hugging on the field. Sadly my son, then in his early teens, was chastized by my father for showing weakness. I pointed out to my father that being true to yourself is the bravest step that anyone can make. Sadly, my Dad's generation of men were oppressed and their genuineness under appreciated.

Sigur Ros - Hoppipolla . When do we reach a point in our lives that fantasy is regarded as time wasting nonsense and discouraged from our every day lives? I believe that it is at about the same time that we start to care about what other people think, in sacrifice for what we truly feel. I have gained fantasy back through creativity and art but mostly from my engagement with others. I find that when I enter into fun, nonsensical conversations with people. even strangers, they often are very happy to play along. Often the conversation takes on a life of it's own. This type of encounter usually ends with everyone laughing. I want more of that!!!

Maybe I'll see you there at next years event

Darryl Cross - Many people experience a feeling of stuck-ness in their lives. Often they may say that they want things to be different but then self sabotage these feelings, informing the stuck-ness. Changing thought patterns will, over time, break the cycle, transforming thoughts, feelings, behaviours and actions, offering a more fulfilling life.

Maysoon Zayid is a disabled Arab-American comedian who tells it how it is. There are so many negative images and perceptions about people who who have unique aspects about them. This might be race, mental illness, disability, sexual orientation and many other differences. Discrimination is a lot more common then many of us would like to admit.
