My youngest son had tears in his eyes when his sister was unable to stop the oppositions Lacrosse ball from entering the goal and winning the game for the opposition by 1 goal. I was so proud of both of them when they stood there hugging on the field. Sadly my son, then in his early teens, was chastized by my father for showing weakness. I pointed out to my father that being true to yourself is the bravest step that anyone can make. Sadly, my Dad's generation of men were oppressed and their genuineness under appreciated.
