The Medicine Wheel - 1 of 3 - Lakota teachings of the powers of the medicine wheel and how it relates to us today. Please note that this wheel is for the Northern Hemisphere. Australian peoples are from the Southern Hemisphere, there for the wheel is a mirror image. The energy and teaching of the Northern and Southern Medicine Wheel are reminiscent to each other. Many cultures, including my own Celtic birth have shared the Medicine Wheel or some form of it and in resent times mainstream medicine seem to be acknowledging the wisdoms of thousands of years and adapting it into clinical practice
